There are still a handful of weekend training spots here and there between now and the trial so if you can work one of those and want to come play, let me know!
I'm also adding two Wednesday evenings to help people prep for the trial or those that have some troubles getting here in the upcoming weekends.
October 28 5-7pm is regular training type setup for dogs either competing at the trial or hoping to. Just let me know if you're wanting to come (no slots will be up). It's $30 like normal, just show up during that time frame, and will be fairly standard training or trial readiness depending on if I'll see you again before the trial. We can run a touch later if that's more convenient for you.
Nov 11 5-7pm will be for "Trial Readiness" training. Basically it'll be similar to what we normally do but I'm planning on setting a variety of courses (Instinct, Novice, and Open) so we can work more on what you'll actually see at the trial. It will also be an excellent training opportunity to practice the volunteer positions so if you're planning on volunteering and want to practice a job, here's your chance! Just email me if you want to come out and let me know if you're running a dog or volunteering only. Cost will be $30/dog like normal, just show up during the time frame, and we'll take turns running until all dogs have run two full courses plus any small tweaks they might need as they have brain power to do so. We can run a touch later if that's more convenient for you.
Entries for the trial close on Oct 31 so send me your entry if you want to come play and haven't already. This should be a smaller trial and will be a great chance to trial in a large venue with minimal distractions :) I'm expecting we will setup around 7-8am and start the trial about 9a and end around 2-3pm each day but I'll confirm that once entries are closed.
Volunteer signups/sheets will be up around Oct 31 (I know I said it was to be earlier but I'm waiting to see where I need the help based on entries) so keep an eye out for that.
Thanks everyone; you make this happen!
